19:1. اور ان دنوں میں جب اسرائیل میں کوئی بادشاہ نہ تھا ایسا ہوا کہ ایک شخص نے جو لاوی تھا اور افرائیم کے کوہستانی ملک کے پر لے سرے پر رہتا تھا بیت لحم یہوداہ سے ایک حرم اپنے لئے کر لی ۔

19:1. In those days Israel had no king. There was a Levite living temporarily in the remote region of the Ephraimite hill country. He acquired a concubine from Bethlehem in Judah.

19:1. Now in those days Israel had no king. There was a man from the tribe of Levi living in a remote area of the hill country of Ephraim. One day he brought home a woman from Bethlehem in Judah to be his concubine.

19:1. And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the farther side of the hill-country of Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Beth-lehem-judah.
