7:21. (کِیُونکہ وہ تو بغَیر قَسم کے کاہِن مُقرّر ہُوئے ہیں مگر یہ قَسم کے ساتھ اُس کی طرف سے ہُؤا جِس نے اُس کی بابت کہا کہ خُداوند نے قَسم کھائی ہے اور اُس سے پھِرے گا نہِیں کہ تُو ابد تک کاہِن ہے۔

7:21. but Jesus did so with a sworn affirmation by the one who said to him, "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever'"—

7:21. but there was an oath regarding Jesus. For God said to him, "The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: 'You are a priest forever.' "

7:21. (for they indeed have been made priests without an oath; but he with an oath by him that saith of him, The Lord sware and will not repent himself, Thou art a priest for ever);

7:21. but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever.'"

7:21. (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

7:21. Those who formerly became priests took their office without an oath, but this one was addressed with an oath, "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, `Thou art a priest for ever.'"
