8:6. اُنہوں نے اُسے آزمانے کے لِئے یہ کہا تاکہ اُس پر اِلزام لگانے کا کوئی سبب نِکالیں مگر یِسُوع جُھک کر اُنگلی سے زمِین پر لِکھنے لگا۔

8:6. (Now they were asking this in an attempt to trap him, so that they could bring charges against him.) Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground with his finger.

8:6. They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger.

8:6. And this they said, trying him, that they might have whereof to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.
