11:29. جب بڑی بھِیڑ ہوتی جاتی تھی تو وہ کہنے لگا کہ اِس زمانہ کے لوگ بُرے ہیں۔ وہ نِشان طلب کرتے ہیں مگر یُوناہ کے نِشان کے سِوا کوئی اَور نِشان اُن کو نہ دِیا جائے گا۔

11:29. As the crowds were increasing, Jesus began to say, "This generation is a wicked generation; it looks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.

11:29. As the crowd pressed in on Jesus, he said, "This evil generation keeps asking me to show them a miraculous sign. But the only sign I will give them is the sign of Jonah.

11:29. And when the multitudes were gathering together unto him, he began to say, This generation is an evil generation: it seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah.

11:29. The crowd grew larger and larger. Jesus said, "The people who live today are evil. They ask for a miracle as a sign from God. But no miracle will be done to prove anything to them. The only sign will be the miracle that happened to Jonah.
