2:2. خداوند نے یعقوب کے تما م گھرغارت کئے اور رحم نہ کیا اُس نے اپنے قہر میں دُخترِیہوداہ کے تمام قلعے گراکر خاک میں ملا دِئے۔اُس نے مملکت اور اُسکے اُمرا کو ناپاک ٹھہرایا۔

2:2. The Lord destroyed mercilessly all the homes of Jacob's descendants. In his anger he tore down the fortified cities of Daughter Judah. He knocked to the ground and humiliated the kingdom and its rulers.&u05D2; (Gimel)

2:2. Without mercy the Lord has destroyed every home in Israel. In his anger he has broken down the fortress walls of beautiful Jerusalem. He has brought them to the ground, dishonoring the kingdom and its rulers.

2:2. The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: He hath thrown down in his wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He hath brought them down to the ground; he hath profaned the kingdom and the princes thereof.
