48:2. اب موآبؔ کی تعریف نہ ہوگی ۔ حسبوُنؔ میں اُنہوں نے یہ کہکر اُسکے خلاف منصوبے باندھے ہیں کہ آؤ ہم اُسے نیست کریں کہ وہ قوم نہ کہلا ئے۔اَے مدمینؔ تو بھی کاٹ ڈالا جائیگا ۔ تلوار تیرا پیچھا کریگی ۔

48:2. People will not praise Moab any more. The enemy will capture Heshbon and plot how to destroy Moab, saying, 'Come, let's put an end to that nation!' City of Madmen, you will also be destroyed. A destructive army will march against you.

48:2. No one will ever brag about Moab again, for in Heshbon there is a plot to destroy her. 'Come,' they say, 'we will cut her off from being a nation.' The town of Madmen, too, will be silenced; the sword will follow you there.

48:2. The praise of Moab is no more; in Heshbon they have devised evil against her: Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation. Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be brought to silence: the sword shall pursue thee.

48:2. Moab will not be praised again. Men in Heshbon will plan Moab's defeat. They will say, 'Come, let us put an end to that nation.' Madmenah, you will also be silenced. The sword will chase you.
