17:11. اور جب تک مُوسیٰ اپنا ہاتھ اُٹھائے رہتا تھا بنی اِسرائیل غالب رہتے تھے اور جب وہ ہاتھ لٹکا دیتا تھا تب عمالیقی غائب ہوتے تھے ۔

17:11. Whenever Moses would raise his hands, then Israel prevailed, but whenever he would rest his hands, then Amalek prevailed.

17:11. As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage.

17:11. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
