1:2. تو تِیسرے دِن اَیسا ہُؤا کہ ایک شخص لشکر گاہ میں سے ساؔؤل کے پاس سے پَیراہن چاک کئے اور سر پر خاک ڈالے ہُوئے آیا اور جب وہ داؔؤد کے پاس پُہنچا تو زمین پر گِرا اور سجدہ کیا۔

1:2. On the third day a man arrived from the camp of Saul with his clothes torn and dirt on his head. When he approached David, the man threw himself to the ground.

1:2. On the third day a man arrived from Saul's army camp. He had torn his clothes and put dirt on his head to show that he was in mourning. He fell to the ground before David in deep respect.
